Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Co-Production de Tijuana, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and contributing to the implementation of quality systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and inspect products at the start of every lot, by machine, or when restarting machinery after stoppages.
  • Provide support in incoming inspections of raw materials.
  • Analyze data from variable and attribute charts (SPC) to suggest changes to the process.
  • Participate in the validation of processes and/or raw materials.
  • Assist the engineer or quality supervisor in the implementation of measuring and testing equipment, as well as the performance and evaluation of R&R (repeatability and reproducibility studies) of the measuring equipment.
  • Perform and document tests and measurements required by the specifications of product prototypes.
  • Apply failure analysis techniques in the prevention and correction of product problems.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a quality-related role.
  • Training using equipment is required.
  • Product knowledge and basic knowledge of SPC are required.
