About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Platform Specialist to join our team at ZF. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for other IT workstreams regarding applications requirements, including servers, software releases, agents, and security topics.
  • Coordinate and manage shared services on applications such as job scheduling, platform security services, monitoring, and consulting.
  • Initiate and steer projects to further develop existing SAP platform services or create new services and related operational processes.
  • Manage external application hosting service providers.
  • Ensure efficient SLA monitoring, budget management, and continuous improvement for external hosting providers.
  • Troubleshoot reported issues by IT applications teams and involve necessary IT teams.
  • Manage app registrations and certificates.
  • Implement, govern, coordinate, consult, and run middleware platforms on MES or SAP systems.
  • Expert functions: In MII-MES infrastructure, SAP landscape, and job monitoring cloud platforms.
  • Consult and support customers and users based on their use cases.
  • Continuously enhance production service areas to enable new application technologies and Industry 4.0 processes.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or engineering.
  • Solid foundation in IT infrastructure, including networking and servers management.
  • Critical thinking, communication, and research skills.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and interfaces with enterprise systems.
