About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Molding Operations Manager to join our team at CommScope. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for defining strategies and objectives to drive business unit goals and lead operational improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead teams in completing high-value operations initiatives that support business unit goals.
  • Manage all project activities, driving decision-making and executive reporting deadlines.
  • Ensure common understanding within a cross-functional team regarding objectives and goals.
  • Achieve all Plant Transfer Process (PTP) guidelines.
  • Influence team members and functional resource managers to achieve results.
  • Recognize team strengths and weaknesses and utilize cross-functional team members to complement each other.
Project Accountability
  • Manage project budget and cost requirements.
  • Monitor project forecasts and corresponding impact to project justification.
  • Accountable for detailed work plan of each project phase and ensuring completion of agreed upon deliverables by the team.
  • Resolution of staffing/resource issues together with functional managers.
  • Project tracking relative to project contract with executives and internal partners.
Leadership and Management
  • Requests and is responsible for project budgets.
  • Resolves project and functional conflicts.
  • Manage expectations and raises issues/barriers to management that cannot be readily solved by the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area.
  • Molding Manager experience of 6+ years, 5+ years project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in English, both in written and verbal form.
  • Knowledge of technical molding processes and equipment, SMED, TPM, Tooling.
  • Exposure to financial data and financial indicators.
  • Understanding of all business processes and functional areas that contribute to successful project execution.
  • Developing skills in leading, forming, influencing, and developing teams.
  • Good judgment and timely decision-making skills.
  • Developing ability to effectively lead both horizontally and vertically, presenting with all management levels in the organization.
  • Initiator/motivator; pro-active attitude and a sense of urgency.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office.
