About the Opportunity

Dexis Consulting Group is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our anticipated multi-year rule of law and criminal justice program in Mexico. This is a unique chance to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in a complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project start-up, including staff mobilization, recruitment, and demobilization, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with USAID regulations.
  • Supervise the administration and finance team, focusing on efficient procurement, logistical services, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide grants management oversight, conducting pre-award assessments, monitoring ongoing grants, reviewing grant language, and approving invoices.
  • Maintain awareness of the country's security situation, advising the Chief of Party and program stakeholders on potential risks and opportunities.
  • Recruit, train, onboard, and mentor field staff, developing the Field Office Staff Manual and operationalizing internal management systems.
  • Evaluate and implement new ways to enhance operational efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and communicate with the Dexis Home Office as needed.
  • Ensure all staff benefits are tracked accurately, including leave balances and paid time off.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Chief of Party.

Requirements

  • A minimum of ten years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of USAID regulations, USG policies, and procedures on human resources, security, financial management, financial reporting, and grants.
  • Proven experience leading and implementing procurement processes, managing offices or programs, and supervising culturally diverse staff.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.

Compensation and Benefits
