Drive Data-Driven Growth at Hewlett Packard

We are seeking a skilled Data Strategist to join our Advanced Analytics team, where you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and revenue through data-driven insights.

Hewlett Packard is a technology company that operates in over 170 countries worldwide, united by a commitment to creating technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and channel partners to drive data acquisition and model development to support 4P MMM Analytics. This involves collaborating with leaders across disciplines such as Marketing and Category to drive significant benefits to HP.

Responsibilities:

  • IDentify data sources/information that can contribute additional insights to the current models
  • Cooperate with the Data Science team on model development and updates, scrutinizing the 4P models from a business acumen point of view
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring a thorough understanding of their asks and needs
  • Select key information and conclusions to develop comprehensive recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance
  • Consult with business leaders on various issues to provide optimal investment strategies, evaluating campaigns and new advertising strategies for return on investment and brand impact
  • Independently draft and present client deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of work experience in other Advanced Analytics organizations, management consulting, or corporate strategy functions
  • Advanced University degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
  • Strong background in media mix, understanding key behavioral dynamics of marketing science and digital analytics
  • Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define and communicate clear data-driven business strategy
  • Ability to triangulate multiple data sources to validate business strategy and provide post-campaign evaluation
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
  • Intermediate SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Developed business acumen and technical knowledge
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including recommendations, presentation, influence, and assistance with execution
  • Excellent project management skills, including project structuring
  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
  • Developed leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management
  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to project objectives

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience
