Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Specialist to join our team at Marriott International, Inc.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. This includes serving food courses, answering questions on menu selections, communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Set tables according to type of event and service standards
  • Answer questions on menu selections and provide recommendations
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, product availability, and special requests
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restocking items and turning off lights
  • Process payments and present physical checks to guests

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

Estimated Salary: $22,500 - $27,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development within Marriott International, Inc.
