We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Applicator to join our team at Danfoss. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our payment systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Post payments of banks for companies in the NAM region, including USA and Canada.
- Clear accounts daily and apply payments in all SAP/Oracle systems.
- Provide excellent customer service, both internal and external.
- Close month-end processes for NAM company codes, including income, expense, and intercompany accounts.
- Send balance statements to customers weekly to reconcile accounts and reduce overdue and bad debt.
- Reconcile customer balances and provide regular updates on account status.
- Review unapplied items and post internal payments.
- Cash pool reconciliation.
- 3 years of experience in finance and accounting functions.
- 1 year of experience in credit management with progressive responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Excellent presentation and facilitating skills.
- Advanced English level.
- SAP/Oracle system knowledge.
- Account Receivable experience.
- Customer Service & Negotiation experience.
