Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Associate to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for receiving and staging merchandise, marking items for placement, and delivering goods to the appropriate department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
  • Mark items for placement and deliver goods to the correct department
  • Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Notify manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner, ensuring seamless operations
  • Inspect deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality of merchandise
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items, maintaining high standards of quality
  • Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators and freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace
  • Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, and place them in proper storage areas, maintaining a clutter-free environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team
  • No supervisory experience required, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • No license or certification required, but a commitment to ongoing learning and development
