Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Saw Operator to join our team at Kronospan. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all bonding line equipment, presses, saws, and associated machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain saws and other equipment to ensure optimal production levels and product quality.
  • Monitor and track raw materials, including inventory levels and order fulfillment.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Collaborate with production team members to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a production setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Knowledge of saws and other equipment used in laminate flooring production.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
