We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Specialist to join our team at Jabil Circuit. As a key member of our Diagnostic department, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of our diagnostic processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex electronic circuit board assemblies with minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies.
- Utilize advanced electronic test and measurement equipment to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with Test Engineering department to evaluate and improve diagnostic efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective diagnostic procedures and protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians.
- Conduct frequent customer interactions, including travel to customer sites for advanced diagnostic issues.
- Recommend staffing levels and assist in recruiting Diagnostic technicians.
- Perform complex technical assignments, requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
- Develop and maintain documentation methods and procedures.
- Contribute to achieving Diagnostic department's process yield goals.
- Prepare reports and recommend solutions to technical problems.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in operating a personal computer and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and comprehend visual aids.
