We are seeking a skilled Principal Design Engineer to lead our New Product Development team in Monterrey, Mexico.
This role is ideal for a seasoned mechanical design engineer with expertise in product design and development, project management, and technical leadership. If you have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience with Parametric CAD software, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role:
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop innovative products that meet market needs and company standards.
- Develop and manage projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and safety.
- Create detailed designs, prototypes, and testing plans to validate product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and marketing teams to drive process improvements and reduce costs.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product design, development, and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading projects from concept to launch.
- Expertise in Parametric CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual Spanish/English.
