About the Role
Nissan Motor is seeking a highly skilled Tableau Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance on the use of Tableau for business intelligence and data visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Tableau enterprise-wide, understanding business requirements and planning solutions to address data needs.
- Provide accurate analysis, troubleshooting, and testing of Tableau technical issues.
- Ensure the highest level of communication to meet Tableau Service level Agreement (SLA) by providing regular updates on progress and delivering high-quality solutions in a professional manner.
- Participate in implementing Tableau Standards and Best Practices for the service/service offerings.
- Estimate and prioritize Tableau work in Agile environment using SCRUM techniques.
- Deliver internal training on Tableau capabilities and functionality.
- Present Tableau insights to senior management within the region.
Requirements
- 4+ years of overall IS/IT experience.
- 4+ years of experience hands-on with Tableau.
- 3+ years of experience working with SQL.
- 3+ years of experience working with data warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IS or related.
- Advanced technical certifications/diploma and/or degree preferred.
- Tableau certification preferred.
Skills
- Expert skills in using analytic tools, including forecasting, predicting trends, and gaining insights using past and current data.
- Expert skills in analytical thinking.
- In-depth knowledge and a sound understanding of SQL, Business Intelligence, and data analytics.
- Advanced skills in data visualization and presenting data to diverse audiences.
- Sound knowledge and experience in Excel, PL/SQL, ETL, and Tableau platform.
- Technical knowledge of Tableau products and versions, including Tableau Server, Tableau Public, Tableau Online, and Tableau Desktop.
- Intermediate knowledge of data migration, Tableau integration, and extensions.
- Advanced customer focus skills.
- Advanced skills in problem-solving.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
