Job Overview

The Business Consultant will be responsible for overseeing customer orders and ensuring efficient product delivery. This includes managing dealer relations, monitoring fulfillment processes, and addressing any logistical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer orders and product deliveries, ensuring timely execution and adherence to logistics protocols.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies by analyzing customer needs and market conditions, acting as a representative for Continental.
  • Identify and engage potential clients to expand market presence and drive sales growth.
  • Design and promote service programs for distributors to enhance the dealer network.
  • Conduct thorough market analyses to uncover opportunities for growth and assess competitive landscapes.
  • Negotiate terms with distributors and internal teams to facilitate business transactions.
  • Initiate projects tailored to specific customer needs, including marketing initiatives and investment opportunities.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Review and finalize commercial agreements with clients to secure business deals.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators as outlined in the business plan.
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts based on managerial insights and strategic planning.
  • Oversee inventory assessments and sales analysis to optimize order suggestions.
  • Manage travel logistics and expense reporting efficiently.
  • Conduct field evaluations of Continental products in relevant operational settings.
  • Lead field studies and promote innovative digital solutions.
  • Prepare comprehensive business presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support financial recovery efforts through effective communication with clients.
  • Facilitate credit agreements and ensure compliance with financial standards.
  • Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to document customer interactions and agreements.
  • Maintain product knowledge and monitor the performance of specialty tires.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including technical support and product training.
  • Manage warranty registrations and follow-ups.
  • Conduct annual SWOT analyses to evaluate departmental performance.
  • Promote the use of Continental tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engage with potential clients to gather necessary documentation and follow through on processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field with a strong sales background in mining tires.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in customer relationship management and technical sales.
  • Experience in the mining sector, preferably with major tire brands.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and English.
  • Ability to prepare business plans and conduct data analysis.
  • Prior experience in the tire industry is advantageous.
