About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Quality Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for materials and products.
- Collaborate with product design and specification teams to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment to ensure product reliability.
- Ensure that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and contracts.
- Identify and manage risk in product development using UPPAP core elements.
- Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation.
- Perform escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective action for design problems.
- Ensure all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management.
- Design and implement product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers.
- Responsible for both program and product quality engineering.
- Responsible for developing new inspection technologies or methodologies to ensure product conformance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
- GD&T knowledge.
- Proficient conversational and written English required.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Visa and travel availability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP navigation.
- Knowledge in 8D methodology.
