Job Summary

The Reservations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the reservations department and collaborating closely with the Director of Revenue and the Sales & Marketing department to maximize room yields through effective inventory control, while delivering exceptional customer service in line with Andaz brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the reservations department to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Collaborate with the Director of Revenue to optimize room yields and revenue growth
  • Work closely with the Sales & Marketing department to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, guests, and team members to understand their needs and preferences

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Reservations Manager in a luxury hotel setting
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge, particularly in the use of Reserve, Envision, Opera, Cvent, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle demanding situations and guests
  • Excellent communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, team player with excellent time management skills
