Job Summary
A highly skilled Test Cell Engineer is required to provide technical support to the test cell operator/inspector, ensuring the smooth operation of the test cell and providing expert analysis of engine performance. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of turbofan engines, strong mechanical and thermodynamic principles, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Referent: Provide technical guidance and support to the test cell operator/inspector
• Performance Summary Validation: Validate performance data and ensure compliance with internal audit programs
• Monitoring of Test Cell Data: Monitor test cell data and perform direct troubleshooting actions in case of rejection
• Creation of TCWS: Create the Test Cell Workscope and ensure compliance with internal audit programs
Requirements
• Aeronautical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree
• Advanced knowledge of turbofan engines (CFM56 and LEAP)
• Strong mechanical and thermodynamic principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Leadership and decision-making abilities
Working Conditions
The Test Cell Engineer will work in a shop office environment, exposed to workshop noises, and will be required to work under pressure with little response time, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal and external clients, key areas, and management teams.
