Your Role at Baxter

We are transforming our global IT function into a strong business partner, aligned to deliver on technology needs and maintain global support and shared expertise to advance digital capabilities across the enterprise.

As a key member of our Global Information Technology Centers, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing database solutions that drive business value across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and implement database systems that meet the needs of both front-end and back-end users.
  • Monitor system performance and identify problems that arise.
  • Respond in a timely manner to user-reported errors.
  • Protect the database against threats or unauthorized access.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance database performance and security.

**Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience as a database administrator.
  • A minimum of 3+ Years of experience in Goldengate Administrator.
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS Cloud services (or Other Cloud Providers).
  • An analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and responsible.
  • Capable of working under pressure.
  • A deep understanding of multiple database platforms (MS SQL, Oracle Database, or PostgreSQL).

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
