We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Accounting Analyst to join our Carrier Business Services organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining payroll accounting information, performing activities necessary to balance and reconcile GL accounts, and resolving discrepancies and inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with US, company payroll and accounting policies, and supporting clients and business partners by providing accurate, relevant, and timely data.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain payroll accounting information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Perform activities necessary to balance and reconcile GL accounts
- Resolve discrepancies and inquiries
- Assure compliance with US, company payroll and accounting policies
- Support clients and business partners by providing accurate, relevant, and timely data
- Manage, report and mistake proof escapes & turn-backs
- Support regional/global initiatives; execution of process/continuous improvement
- Liaison with internal/external auditors on payroll related audits
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- In-country equivalent payroll certifications/qualifications is a plus (FPC, CPP, CPA)
