Job Summary

As a key member of our team at Jabil Circuit, you will play a critical role in investigating component, manufacturing, and field return issues. Your expertise in root cause analysis and corrective actions will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of component and manufacturing issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Operate specialized Failure Analysis equipment, including various types of microscopes and testing tools.
  • Develop and master grinding and polishing skills to analyze component failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production line problems and improve product yields.
  • Monitor and report technical information concerning component and manufacturing failures to Failure Analysis Engineers.
  • Assist in implementing proactive measures to foster productivity and reduce economic loss.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and datasheets.
  • Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
