We are seeking a highly skilled Failure Analysis Engineer to join our team at Flextronics - The Flex Company. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective troubleshooting methods for systems, software, and equipment.
Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, you will propose and implement solutions for critical issues to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a healthy inventory of repair or manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in design of methods of failure analysis, testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
- Develop and/or modify test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl, etc.).
- Train and instruct floor support, debug technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failure solutions as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
- Resolves test yield problems by performing examination of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
- Experience in functional testing and failure analysis.
- Advanced English.
- Experience with servers and switches.
- Experience with line cards.
- Experience in temperature booth testing.
- Personnel management.
- Schedule availability.
- Advanced Excel skills.
