JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and orchestrates Supply Chain strategies and timelines for both new and existing product lines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This pivotal role focuses on creating a Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) framework that optimizes resource allocation, enhances plant productivity, and guarantees timely delivery while prioritizing product safety. Collaborates with Corporate Planning to produce SIOP that meets inventory objectives, anticipated demand, production capabilities, product introduction schedules, and transition phases. Oversees inventory metrics, including Days of Supply (DOS) and turnover rates. Evaluates SIOP performance against market demand for Original Equipment (OE) and Aftermarket (AM) sectors. Engages in monthly SIOP discussions with corporate stakeholders. Coordinates and manages Physical Inventory processes for the designated facility. Tracks and reports overdue financials and units for specific operational teams. Ensures customer delivery standards are consistently met. Participates in the Change Request (CR) committee, overseeing master data governance and addressing Bill of Materials discrepancies. Communicates effectively with management and supervisors to ensure actual production aligns with planned outputs, particularly during new product introductions. Monitors the supply chain to guarantee optimal material availability and proactively addresses potential shortages. Assesses and updates actual production data against forecasts, adjusting Purchase Order Forecast Reports (POFR) as necessary. Participates in operational meetings to analyze plant schedules, production performance, and devise strategies to minimize downtime while enhancing customer satisfaction. Performs additional responsibilities as assigned. Supports and promotes PSA initiatives and protocols among team members.

Required Knowledge:

Advanced understanding of material planning and production processes is essential.

Required Experience:

3 to 5 years of experience in operations, scheduling, manufacturing, procurement, or distribution.

Essential Skills:

Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish). Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and a strong sense of urgency. Proficient in multitasking, establishing priorities, and allocating resources effectively to achieve objectives. Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and contribute solutions in a collaborative environment. Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously to achieve goals, utilizing resources efficiently. Experienced in long-range planning and SIOP processes, with a comprehensive understanding of planning hierarchies. Strong interpersonal skills to interface with senior management. Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SQL programming is advantageous.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred. APICS Certification is desirable. Exposure to SAP/APO systems is preferred (minimum of 2 years).
