British American Tobacco is seeking a highly skilled Agronomy Development Manager to lead the development of innovative agronomic practices and technologies that drive efficiency, quality, and sustainability in tobacco production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement agronomic strategies to improve crop yields, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement projects that drive business growth and sustainability.
  • Lead the development of new technologies and innovations that address emerging trends and challenges in the industry.
  • Ensure alignment with company-wide sustainability goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Agronomy or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in agriculture, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability standards and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
