Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process and New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to join our team at Linkz Cables Mexico S. De R.L. De C.V. as a key member of our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth introduction of new products into our production lines, while maintaining high-quality standards and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate documentation for new products, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Instructions, and Quality Control Procedures.
- Guarantee the successful launch of new products by coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely completion of pilot runs.
- Develop and maintain process layouts for new products, ensuring optimal production flow and efficiency.
- Lead and validate process flow audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Design and implement tools and equipment necessary for new product production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Calculate and manage standard hours and capacity for production lines, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Optimize and balance production lines to meet customer demands and production schedules.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop new products, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in harness manufacturing in the automotive industry, with a strong understanding of Core Tools and IATF standards.
- Industrial Engineer or equivalent degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices and process management methods.
- Experience with APQP stages and introduction of new models.
- Leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
