HPE Partner Project Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The HPE Partner Project Manager plays a crucial role in driving the execution roadmap for the Partner Experience and PRM Platform team. This position ensures that all scope, time, budget, and quality expectations are met through planning, controlling, and managing customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain the portfolio and project management environment based on policies, standards, customer engagement roadmap, and global method.
  • Drive evolutions, planning per project phases, experience improvements, DQ aspects, and success metrics tracking.
  • Coordinate project delivery, roadmap delivery, and overall execution planning.
  • Ensure proper stakeholders and SMEs are involved and feedback is captured.
  • Track risks and dependencies and tackle them accordingly.
  • Manage and lead PRM programs involving one or more functions and project teams to drive development and implementation.
  • Develop schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for assigned programs.
  • Coordinate activities of supporting project teams and internal and external development partners; track progress against established plans and make decisions to alter or update schedules and resource allocation.
  • Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborate with management and internal SMEs and development partners to implement changes to product, process, or program plan to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
  • Lead and provide guidance as needed for achieving program goals.
  • Gather requirements, document, and organize testing schedules, production move schedules in line with HPE IT release calendars.
  • Implement control and reporting structures for project monitoring as well as risk assessment and change management according to defined governance methods and standard processes.
  • Define and monitor all success on critical indicators and core characteristics for costs, requirements, resources, and risks.
  • Conduct status reviews with project teams, account managers, and customers on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • University degree, post-degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer and partner problems.
  • At least 5 years previous experience in program management and driving cross-functional/transformational programs.
  • At least 5 years previous Project Management experience, PMP can be a plus.
