About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, administering, and implementing environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies by monitoring pollution prevention activities, conducting audits, and preparing environmental impact reports;
- Evaluate proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public, and environmental impact;
- Communicate data to appropriate engineering personnel for use in making engineering decisions;
- Interact with federal, state, and local regulators to resolve compliance issues;
- 5 years of experience as EHS Engineer;
- Knowledge of Mexican safety and hygiene regulations;
- Understanding of OSHA standards;
- Bilingual (English and Spanish);
