Job Summary

The IT Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of operational activities and coordination of Data Center/Computer rooms and Facilities infrastructure (part of the regional/global DC & Computer room floor spaces).

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the Compliance KPIs Dashboard ensuring ISMS health, providing support to all activities related to Controls, Findings, Remediation plans and Metrics.
  • Ensure the delivery of Planning and execution of IT FACILITIES CAPEX: like alignment with Market IT FRM/finance/procurement areas, check point controls, status reports, escalations, etc.
  • Ensure the Planning and execution of IT FACILITIES OPEX: alignment with finance/procurement areas, check point controls, status reports, etc.
  • Execute elaboration and negotiation of RFP's for preventive/corrective maintenance contracts on IT FACILITIES equipment.
  • Support IS/IT strategic service partners provide the required level of service, system performance and functionality required to meet business commitments.
  • Support the relationship with suppliers for on-going daily operation and Markets.
  • Support Planning and coordination of yearly obsolescence replacement in all sites.

Required Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business (IT management), engineering or IT.
  • Managing cultural diversity: respect for various cultures and understanding how to work with a variety of cultures in the most effective way.
  • Good contract management and negotiation skills.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting preventive maintenance to mission-critical data center / computer room infrastructure (Diesel Generators, UPS, HVAC, Fire Suppression, Access Control, Copper/Fiber Cabling Technologies, etc.).
  • 2+ years of Data Center / Computer Room Assessment, Design and project management experience.
