Localization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Localization Specialist to join our team at Welocalize. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing project scope, preparing quotes, and communicating with clients to ensure timely delivery of services.

This is a customer-facing position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Localization Specialist, you will work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver high-quality services.

• Assess project scope and prepare detailed quotes within agreed-upon timelines
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their requirements are met and expectations are managed
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotes, and project progress
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and retain existing clients

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in localization, translation, or project management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with localization tools such as XTM, Phrase, and FineReader is an asset
