About the Role

As a Maintenance Planner Engineer at Molex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to create and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance plans, analyzing data to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to support manufacturing operations and achieve plant metrics and goals.
  • Lead the maintenance budget preparation process, utilizing CMMS/SAP monthly reports to establish and track costs for equipment and completed work orders.
  • Develop and implement scheduled preventive maintenance plans for plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing the risk of equipment failure.
  • Anticipate and eliminate potential manufacturing delays by planning and coordinating all aspects of the manufacturing PM process, including manpower, parts, equipment, and material.
  • Balance weekly output requirements with the need for reliability and proactive maintenance, ensuring seamless production operations.
  • Work with process management and materials planning teams to perform maintenance without interrupting production processes.
  • Utilize SAP to plan and schedule maintenance routines, ensuring the production process runs smoothly.
  • Serve as a SuperUser for the SAP Plant Maintenance Module, providing expertise and support to colleagues.
  • Review prioritized work orders and evaluate them for planning and/or scheduling process application.
  • Understand, support, and contribute to Molex International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with expertise in Maintenance.
  • Good experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in SAP maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience of plant utilities and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with 5 why's and Ishikawa (Fishbone diagram).
  • English fluent.
  • Knowledge of statistical and engineering methods to implement preventive and corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods and processes for molding and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficient computer skills. Experience with spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software.
