We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at Advanced Energy Management Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving resolution for problems in materials, components, and products through systematic and fast methodologies.
Main Responsibilities- Problem Resolution
- Ensure the timely resolution of identified problems with urgency as required.
- Confirm failure description and scope of issue, drive emergency actions, collect, review, and react to data collected within manufacturing processes, ensuring containment actions are on time.
- Drive root cause analysis until identification and derive corrective action plans.
- Team Leadership
- Lead problem-solving teams and the Fast Response System, responsible for driving the problem-solving process, including tool use, confirming 8D content, and meeting customer and internal response time requirements.
- Process Improvement
- Facilitate problem-solving processes with relevant teams in case of non-conforming products.
- Perform process capability studies on existing processes, reviewing and analyzing results, recommending changes based on findings, and performing follow-up to verify effectiveness.
- Participate in modifying Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Communication and Accountability
- Ensure on-time communication to customers on escalated issues and drive accountability for problem resolution.
- Have authority and responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of non-conformance to customer expectations, safety, or environmental risks.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution.
- Advanced Degree in Engineering/Science – desired.
- Experience
- Minimum 10 years' experience in industry as a Technical Expert Level Position.
- Experienced working in fast-paced, high mix low volume manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in 6 Sigma, SPC, Variation Control, MSA, or GR&R techniques and other quality tools.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and requirements.
- Skills
- Strong communication, facilitating, and coordination skills.
- Able to handle communications with customers.
- Expert in problem-solving methodologies.
- Expertise in practical problem-solving tools using 8D methodology.
