We are seeking a highly skilled Health Economist to join our team at IQVIA Argentina. As a key member of our Real-World Insights (RWI) business, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our HEOR/HTA areas in Mexico.
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering timely, high-quality contributions to client solutions within the pharmaceutical and associated industries. You will work on a range of assignments, from basic analysis and problem-solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions.
Essential Functions- Develop studies related to health economic modeling, market access strategy, and value proposition.
- Work independently and/or as part of a project team on defined tasks, collaborating with supervision as needed.
- Participate in business development/internal initiatives, such as producing initial drafts of proposals and conducting internal training.
- Assist in project management/client liaison activities, attending client and external meetings, and presenting your research/analyses.
- Develop prospective or retrospective outcome research protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports.
- Conduct local data sourcing, literature searches, data collection, and generation, producing supporting materials for complex economic models.
- Draft, review, submit, and present abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals/conference proceedings.
- Bachelor's Degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical-biological chemistry, economics, or a clinical discipline.
- Master's degree in health outcomes research (epidemiology, pharmacy, public health, statistics, or any other related clinical discipline) is a plus.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in health outcomes research and/or academic research experience.
- Data analysis skills and thorough understanding of the Mexican healthcare system, including the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills, as well as effective written and oral communication.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of medical terminology and epidemiological measures.
- Intermediate knowledge of statistics and advanced English level.
