Job Overview:

Bayer seeks a seasoned professional to lead crop optimization efforts in our Vegetable Research and Development (R&D) team.

About the Role:

As Global Crop Optimization Lead, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing strategies to enhance crop productivity, quality, and sustainability. Your expertise will drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to Bayer's mission to create life-saving innovations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global crop optimization plans to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
  • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including R&D, Breeding, and Field Quality teams, to ensure seamless execution of crop optimization initiatives
  • Mentor and develop direct reports to foster a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain Bayer's competitive edge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in agriculture, with a focus on crop optimization, R&D, or related fields
  • Proven track record of driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams
  • Advanced knowledge of English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

What We Offer:

Bayer provides a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for career growth, professional development, and a dynamic work environment.
