Key Responsibilities- Lead procurement activities for projects, ensuring optimal deployment of resources and implementation of procurement strategies to achieve project goals.
- Source, evaluate, and engage with suppliers, including traveling to their facilities as needed, to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget compliance.
- Develop and implement procurement plans, target-costing, and contractual obligations to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, commercial, and global commodity management, to identify procurement risks, opportunities, and potential changes.
- Prepare bid documents, negotiate contracts, and lead contractual and price negotiations to secure project targets with optimal conditions.
- Ensure that major procurement risks, changes to original scope of supply, and potential claims are covered in valid contracts.
- Proactively monitor and report on procurement-related project information, including contractual conditions, supplier management data, and project controlling indicators.
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with direct experience required.
- 5+ years of experience within the energy industry, including 4-6 years of supply chain management experience.
- Demonstrated track record as a transformative leader, collaborator, and change agent capable of getting results.
- Fluency in English is a must.
