We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our supplier performance and development initiatives. As Associate Director, Supplier Performance, you will be responsible for evaluating supplier performance, management, capacity, and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate supplier qualifications, including training and certifications.
- Develop and implement supplier development plans to ensure best performance is achieved.
- Guide the development and implementation of new processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems.
- Evaluate critical business-wide metrics and lead cross-functional work teams to significantly increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
- Interface with leadership within Supply Chain Management, Engineering, and Operations to communicate and improve supplier development strategy and performance.
Requirements:
- Deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
- Manufacturing experience in machining, mechanical fabrication, casting, and general metallurgy.
- Expert knowledge in APQP with practical experience implementing APQP in a supply base.
- Bilingual, English & Spanish.
