About the Role

The Carrier Air Conditioning team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our SAP Finance systems. As a Senior Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our SAP Finance system architecture, ensuring it meets or exceeds business goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead implementation projects in accordance with Carrier IT's methodologies and governance model, collaborating with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well-coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture.
  • Design, develop, and test system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
  • Configure the Finance module to achieve business goals, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP standard methodologies.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.
  • Analyze existing business processes and business data, providing proactive and constructive recommendations for improvement.
  • Create solution prototypes when teams are working on future design models.
  • Control solution development to ensure standards are being observed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in defining and maintaining global templates and playbooks for Finance scenarios.
  • Business process analysis and redesign experience, with strong business analysis skills, process mapping, business process redesign, and implementation.
  • Experience in design, delivery, and support of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and S/4 HANA environments.
  • Experience leading the Finance workstream for an ECC/S/4 HANA Finance end-to-end implementation for a global, manufacturing company.
  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of both Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO), and Central Finance (CFIN), with understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
  • Deep understanding of Corporate Finance Processes supported by Central Finance, such as central payments, open item management, credit management, and shared services.
  • A conceptual thinker with professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements.
  • The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate, and achieve results is critical.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Travel:
  • You will be required to travel as determined by the needs of our businesses. This position may require travel to business sites up to 25% of the time.
