About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. UX Designer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating user-centered online experiences that meet the needs of our customers.

In this role, you will work closely with product managers, content strategists, UI designers, developers, and researchers to design and develop innovative solutions that drive business results. You will be responsible for creating journey maps, storyboards, user flows, sketches, wireframes, and other design artifacts to effectively communicate interaction and dynamic content strategies.

You will also be part of a collaborative team-oriented environment, working closely with UX Designers, Content Strategists, and UX Researchers to create new products, features, and functionality. You will advocate for the user's needs while developing features that align to the needs of the user.

As a Sr. UX Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating and building design solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions
  • Creating prototypes for UX research testing with industry-leading tools
  • Being an effective communicator and advocate for the user's needs

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • 3-5 years of design experience creating simple solutions for complex challenges
  • Experience in responsive design
  • Experience with industry-leading prototyping tools
  • A strong portfolio of work that illustrates your process, level of craft, and results-driven approach
  • Familiarity with Agile development and a passion for working in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in graphic design, fine art, visual communications, HCI, or related field (or equivalent industry training/experience)
  • Familiarity with web standards (W3C and 508) and best practices for interaction design and accessibility
