About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Index Management Research Intern to join our team at MSCI Inc. in Monterrey, Mexico. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals and contribute to the development of our real estate index management research team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the real estate index management research team on index quality, methodology, and publications-related topics.
  • Work on operational improvement projects, research-based charting tools/analysis on real estate property and property fund indexes.
  • Collaborate on annual representativeness studies on global market size estimations.

Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Financial industry knowledge.
  • Advanced Excel, Python programming skills, and data visualization techniques (Power BI).

Desired Experience

  • Students in 6th-9th semester of a bachelor's degree with strong interest in Finance, with a GPA of 90/100.
  • Studies abroad or previous work experience is strongly desired.
