Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Shipping Logistics Coordinator to coordinate shipments and on-time deliveries of our customers in shipments of solid finished products and coordinate outbound exports from the Escobedo plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule Shipments: Schedule the shipment of solid FG orders for delivery to the customer, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  2. Coordinate Exports: Coordinate exports of MP or PT to clients or intercompany, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  3. Request and Confirmation: Request and confirmation of transport units, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  4. Follow-up and Tracking: Follow up on shipments and track cargo, units in transit, and customer deliveries, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues.
  5. Communication: Maintain communication of delivery status with customer service, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  6. Documentation: Prepare shipping documents, including loading plans and tracking information.
  7. Team Supervision: Direct supervision of Shipment analyst, ensuring effective team management.
  8. Quality Control: Direct execution of BC quality procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  9. Expense Management: Fill monthly Expense KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  10. Budget Management: Manage the Budget of the area, ensuring effective financial management.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in team and departmental meetings, as well as in special courses or activities assigned by the company, identifying areas of opportunity and participating in continuous improvement projects.
  12. Compliance: Comply with the company's rules and regulations, taking care of its facilities.
  13. Support: Carry out activities as assigned and support other plant departments when required.
  14. Health and Safety: Actively participate against unsafe acts and conditions.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  2. Experience: Minimum experience of 3 years in Supply Chain or Logistics.
  3. Skills: Knowledge of admin programs (Excel, Word, Windows), English Advanced, and knowledge in SAP.
  4. Math and Statistics: Good at math and statistics.
