At Autozone, we are seeking a skilled Permits Specialist to join our Store Development team in Mexico City. This is a unique opportunity to work with various areas of the company, including permits, design, construction, and Real Estate, to ensure seamless store openings.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Ensure that all documentation is correct and processes are followed to facilitate store openings in Mexico City and Mexico.\
  • Work closely with Legal, Store Development, Permits, and Design teams to validate documentation and advise property owners on required documents.\
  • Implement the process of opening new stores in CDMX and the State of Mexico, validating store designs meet local requirements.\
  • Develop suppliers that provide adequate services for Mexico City and Mexico, collecting necessary stationery from assigned vendors.\
  • Coordinate visits to delegations with other AZ areas to present our company and indicate interest in opening markets, delivering official AutoZone documents as needed.\
  • Assist other Store Development areas, such as Design and Construction, to obtain missing information on proposed or existing projects.\
  • Link new store permit teams with permit renewals to help operations avoid problems and solve issues with Property Management, Loss Prevention, and Maintenance.\
  • Support the Legal team in handling notifications and tracking payment orders with permit areas.\
  • Generate digital files for stores and deliver them to the permits area for continuity.\
  • Must be proficient in navigating Microsoft Windows and possess medium to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).\
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a detail-oriented focus, able to handle highly confidential information.\
  • The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.\\
