Responsibilities:
* Maintain the quality of mechanical components catalog used by EXFO
* Review and approve specifications of components designed by R&D designers
* Work closely with suppliers to make sure they are meeting EXFO specifications
* Write and maintain quality inspection plans of incoming material
* Communicate non-conformities to suppliers and work with them on corrective actions
* Participate in cost reduction projects by qualifying new suppliers or working in continuous improvement projects with current suppliers
* Monitor technology changes/evolutions in the machining, sheet metal working, and plastic injection molding industries and communicate them to EXFO's technical groups
* Recommend new suppliers and technologies to the R&D teams
* Visit and audit suppliers
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication abilities
* Fluent in Spanish and English (read and write)
* Capable of working on multiple mandates at the same time and good priority management
* Leadership, teamwork, and autonomy abilities
* Willingness to travel within and outside Mexico
