About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Automation Specialist to join our team at In All Media Inc. As a key member of our Quality Engineering team, you will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement across our engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an automated test suite to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve release planning and deployment processes.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members on best automation practices and provide guidance on testing methodologies.
  • Design and execute automated tests to identify and report defects, with a focus on risk assessment and reproducible cases.
  • Advocate for the adoption of automated testing practices throughout the organization and ensure that automation solutions are pragmatic, meet requirements, and allow for future extension.

Requirements

Technical Competencies

  • Proven experience in running automation scripts and testing web-based applications, web services, and APIs with a large user base.
  • Strong background in building automation frameworks from scratch, with the ability to articulate problem-solving approaches and determine 'good' automation.
  • Experience working in scaled Agile environments and teams, with a strong understanding of testing/project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks including Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, SoapUI, and TestNG, as well as experience with Java or RoR.
