As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across IAM Engineering through establishing and maintaining an automated test suite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain an automated test suite to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to and improve release planning and deployment processes.
- Coach the Test team and wider Engineering team on best automation practices.
- Prepare and execute automated tests according to risk profile, using exploratory techniques as appropriate.
- Review requirements and assess and mitigate risk within our systems.
- Report defects, including risk assessment and reproducible cases.
- Advocate the value of automated testing practices to the wider organization.
- Ensure automation solutions are pragmatic, meet requirements, and allow for future extension.
Requirements:
Technical Competencies:
- Proven experience running automation scripts and testing on web-based applications, web services, and APIs with a large user base.
- Prior experience building automation frameworks from scratch is a must.
- Experience working in established Scale Agile environments and teams.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks including but not limited to Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, SoapUI, TestNG.
- Prior experience using testing/project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with Java or RoR would be advantageous.
