Clinical System Lead at ICON - Mexico, Mexico City

We are a world-leading healthcare intelligence and clinical research organization.

Our diverse and dynamic team is seeking an experienced Clinical System Lead to lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of clinical systems and technologies to support clinical trials and drive operational excellence within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Design and Implementation: Oversee the design, configuration, and implementation of clinical trial systems, including electronic data capture (EDC) and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to gather system requirements, define workflows, and ensure system functionality aligns with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and end-users on clinical trial systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide training as needed.
  • System Upgrades and Integrations: Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations to minimize impact on ongoing trial operations.
  • Data Standards and Best Practices: Support the development and implementation of data standards and best practices for clinical trial systems.

About the Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in clinical trial system implementation and management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in clinical trial systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or Veeva Vault.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
