We are seeking a highly skilled External Communications Specialist to join our team in Latin America. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive external communications strategy to strengthen Stryker's brand and reputation in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute the External Communications strategy to Stryker Latin America, including media relations, executive thought leadership, and segmented communications to other stakeholders.
- Work closely with the global communications and regional marketing teams to support the business strategy and goals.
- Collaborate on crisis communications efforts and manage external PR agencies based in different countries.
- Develop and implement a spokespeople training agenda and build relationships with Stryker's spokespeople.
- Manage the budget, vendors, and partners to ensure efficient execution of the plan.
- Register and report KPIs periodically.
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with both corporate and agency experience.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal and writing skills, organizational abilities, confidentiality maintenance, multitasking skills, and the ability to adapt global content to local contexts.
