Underwriter I

Everest, Consultoría, Administración y Back Office S de RL de CV is seeking a highly skilled Underwriter I to join our team in Mexico City, Mexico. As a key member of our Property Underwriting team, you will be responsible for underwriting and pricing Property risks, determining the acceptability of risks, and preparing quotations and formal proposals on new and renewal business. You will also be expected to deliver a high level of response time and service quality to clients and brokers, bind coverages subject to authority level, and answer inquiries from producers. Additionally, you will ensure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standards, expand the Property portfolio in line with controls, underwriting strategy, and guidelines, and develop and maintain relationships with key brokers and clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field, 2-4 years of professional work experience in a related field, advanced English language skills, and outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and development skills.
