Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Donor Management Coordinator to join our team at Be The Match Mexico. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of managing donors in the workup process, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Donor Support and Coordination: Assess and address donor needs and concerns, offering personalized support while respecting cultural and age-related differences.
  • Donor Experience Enhancement: Enhance donor experience through exceptional service and personalized interactions, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Arrange and conduct donor information sessions, manage scheduling for physical exams and medical clearances, and ensure timely completion of donation-related tasks.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Oversee collection and management of required documents, blood samples, and prescriptions, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Collection Support: Assist with donation activities, including post-donation tasks and communication with relevant teams to address any issues.
  • Case Management: Keep the Case Manager and donor updated on progress, handle documentation and paperwork, and work with third-party exam sites if needed.
  • Recovery and Follow-Up: Contact donors for recovery assessments, arrange necessary blood samples, and manage any barriers or issues that arise.
  • Confidentiality and Communication: Facilitate communication between donors and recipients, ensuring confidentiality and handling donor management under research protocols when necessary.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Postsecondary education such as a certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree. A combination of relevant education, certification or experience, in addition to the minimum experience, may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Three Years of Experience: Three years of experience interacting with patients, clients, or customers in a healthcare, nonprofit, or business setting.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Availability: Availability for possible occasional overnight travel and flexibility to work outside of core business hours (evenings, weekends, and some holidays) is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree: Associate's or bachelor's degree in a health or science field.
  • Medical Terminology: Medical terminology, case-note documentation, and medical histories.
  • Patient Interaction: Patient interaction or care experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Regulated Environment: Experience working in a regulated environment to include a demonstrated knowledge of Good Tissue Practices (GTP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred.
  • COFEPRIS Knowledge: Knowledge of COFEPRIS.
