**Job Summary:**
This position is responsible for coordinating the New Hire Orientation for new employees, ensuring an excellent experience and effective communication of relevant HR information on the first day.
The HR Generalist will provide customer service for AutoZone employees, addressing HR-related topics and ensuring compliance with company policies, such as dress code and code of conduct.
Additionally, this role will manage the system used to hire interns, administer scholarship payments, and maintain accurate records.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Coordinate New Hire Orientation every Monday, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
2. Provide customer service to AutoZone employees, responding to HR-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
3. Ensure compliance with company policies, including dress code, code of conduct, and other relevant guidelines.
4. Manage the system used to hire interns, creating contracts, processing requests, and making timely payments.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in HR processes, including new hire orientation, labor relations, and customer service.
3. Bilingual English-Spanish fluency, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees.
4. Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and negotiate effectively.
5. Intermediate proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
1. HR or Labor Relations certifications or trainings.
