Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Event Host to join our team at Hilton Worldwide, Inc. As an Event Host, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth execution of events and banquets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Coordinate seating for customers
  • Upsell with latest departmental incentives
  • Manage Conference and Banquet set-ups
  • Ensure guests are billed accurately
  • Follow cash handling procedures
  • Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Comply with company brand standards
  • Strive to achieve departmental targets as part of the team
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
  • Comply with local licensing laws
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
  • Be environmentally aware

Requirements

  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on your own or in teams
  • Food and Beverage and/or industry experience
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
