About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Operations Technician to join our team at Intel's Data Center Artificial Intelligence DCAI Group. This is a fast-paced environment where you will work with System Administrators, System Debug Engineers, Cluster Architects, and Development Engineering partners to maintain, ramp, and deploy systems for our common infrastructure environment from Power On to End of Life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions.
  • Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests.
  • Analyze engineering proposals and related technical data to determine the feasibility of assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment.
  • Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
  • Work in a fast-paced Pre-Production lab environment with high tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Independently own larger, more complex tasks and drive to resolution.
  • Know when to escalate and ask for help.
  • Independently find content experts and seek training to overcome obstacles.
  • Communicate status clearly with strong communication skills.
  • Recognize problem areas and create solution proposals.
  • Work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Have a high sense of customer orientation.
  • Have a commitment and great working attitude.
Qualifications

To be initially considered for this position, you must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in HW Spec experience building up and maintaining servers.
  • 1+ years of experience working with JIRA.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level.
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.
Preferred Qualifications

One year of experience with Intel Architecture is preferred. Experience in customer support is also a plus. 2+ years of proven experience and knowledge of tech support, as well as Linux proficiency, are highly valued.
