Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting all human resources activities, including compensation, work environment, associate relations, compliance, and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compensation
    • Assist in the administration of compensation programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and Mexico's Federal Labor Law.
    • Provide guidance on non-management pay administration guidelines, including annual performance/merit increase guidelines.
    • Assist in the analysis of wage parity and compensation-related issues.
  • Work Environment
    • Support the maintenance of a positive work environment, ensuring that all associates are treated fairly and with respect.
    • Monitor the work environment for any signs of potential union organization and escalate accordingly.
    • Participate in and support Positive Work Environment (PAR) training, labor/employee relations-related interventions, and other initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
  • Associate Relations
    • Assist in the review of Engagement Survey scores for all sites in the market.
    • Support the on-site life cycle of the Engagement Survey and the associated action planning.
    • Assist in overseeing the improvement of sites and departments that fail to meet minimum standards in any portion of the lifecycle and/or associated metrics.
  • Talent Acquisition
    • Ensure compliance with company employment policies and procedures, as well as Mexico's Labor Law requirements for employment.
    • Provide staffing updates, assist in obtaining approvals for hiring exceptions, and provide applicant eligibility and rehire status to the Talent Acquisition COE.
    • Coordinate talent acquisition strategies and actions to provide the business with the right talents to deliver memorable experiences to our guests and owners.
  • Talent Management
    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and directing associate training programs.
    • Support the HR function as it relates to new hires and onboarding experience of new associates.
    • Provide task aids and training materials to site leaders and associates.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on compensation, work environment, and associate relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexico's Federal Labor Law and company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and associates.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make recommendations for improvement.
