Job Description
As a Project Manager - Automotive Industrial Project, you will lead a team of manufacturing engineers in charge of the Project Management Office for an automotive Industrial project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the activities of 2 to 6 manufacturing engineers engaged in Logistics engineering and Process engineering.
- Implementing and fine-tuning a Project Management toolkit to the customer's project needs.
- Reporting out at Senior Level on Quality/Cost/Leadtime.
- Providing efficient decision-making and escalation where required.
- Leading a team of manufacturing engineers.
Project Interface
You will be Segula's voice in high-level project meetings, demonstrating business acumen and trustworthiness. You will understand key challenges of the project and translate them into clear requirements for the scope of work. You will proactively suggest and stand for new ideas.
Project Planning
You will anticipate upcoming milestones, identify conditions for success, and plan accordingly. You will escalate roadblocks, keep track of deliverables progress, and report out on project trackers.
Quality, Cost & Delivery Control
You will keep track of the cost assumptions for the team's scope of work, create and improve standards and procedures, drive project engineers into collecting data for case studies, and compile technical lessons learnt.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline, 5+ years of experience in a similar job, and essential experience in Automotive Project Management and Automotive Manufacturing. Material Planning knowledge is also essential, and CNC Machining knowledge is a plus. Fluency in German is required.
